Solids House

This house is currently in design. The concept is a composition of rectangular solids that cut into each other. The approach from the left side is more solid and protected, with views opening to the lake and mountain sides. The upper level has a master suite and an office with access to the rooftop terrace.

The shapes and colors on the exterior continue inside. The Bolivian owner has described the color scheme as, “a mélange of Mexican wildness.” The deck side overlooks mountains and a lake. The triple doors opening to the deck slide into a solid wall, creating an outdoor room that is contiguous with the living room.
